Michel Jonasz

Michel Jonasz is back on the road and will stop at Zénith Amiens Métropole in Amiens on April 3, 2026. A singer, songwriter and musician, he moves between soul, R&B and blues—ground he has long explored. For this return he reunites with his longtime collaborators Manu Katché on drums and Jean‑Yves d’Angelo on keyboards, accompanied by a band of musicians and backing vocalists. The set revisits his staples, incorporates more recent tracks and opens onto a few new pieces tied to his latest album. The framework is conceived for live performance: precise arrangements, organic keyboards, bass lines that support the voice, drum breaks that reignite the momentum, and choirs that broaden the sound. Jonasz alternates groovy numbers and narrative ballads, between spoken phrasing, scat and direct melodies, with that way of making words ring without weighing them down. A concert centered on the songs, carried by the trio’s energy and the orchestra’s breadth.
