D'Jal « En Pleine Conscience »

D’jal returns with a new show on March 28, 2026, at the Haute-Saintonge Conference Center in Jonzac. On stage he unfolds a gallery of characters — cousins, neighbors, taxi drivers — with a knack for the offbeat that highlights everyday misunderstandings. Accents intersect, gestures are precise, lines fly: he shifts persona in an instant and evokes situations where cultures and generations brush up against and answer one another.

Straddling stand-up and sketches, D’jal talks about family, travel, work, and those little everyday hassles that stick to real life. The set remains minimal; everything relies on the words, the rhythm and the precision of his performance. We move from one tale to the next as if an entire town were passing across the stage, through impressions, tight exchanges and more personal asides. A new chapter to rediscover his eye for observation and to introduce fresh characters, with a direct, current humor.
