Bertrand Belin

Bertrand Belin returns to the stage with the songs from his new studio album. On March 26, 2026, he takes over La Boîte à Musiques – BAM Metz to extend his explorations and push his sonic research further. The piano, prominent on some of the tracks, opens a different space within the electronic trio of guitar and drums that runs through his recent records. Strings appear in touches, renewing the harmony and carrying the voice toward atmospheres sometimes clear, sometimes more troubled, like a back-and-forth between earth and sky.

At the heart of the lyrics are simple, direct existential questions: our place, our perspectives, our movements, our loves, our attentions, our impulses, our fears. Belin sings more openly than before, lets his timbre rise and unfolds prose that preserves its sparseness while branching into new directions. A precise writing, a discreet sense of rhythm, and a way of holding the listener in balance between organic sounds and electronic textures. A concert conceived as a living testing ground, where each piece shifts the line without breaking the thread.
