Yves Jamait

Yves Jamait presents a singular concert devoted to Maxime Le Forestier, a figure who marked his adolescence and influenced his path as a singer-songwriter. He recounts what those songs set in motion, and revisits their lyrics and melodies in his own way, alternating between confidences and carefully chosen interpretations. To give shape to this musical narrative, he surrounds himself with Michel Haumont, a fingerstyle guitarist who worked for many years with Le Forestier, and Jérôme Broyer, Jamait’s stage companion for more than ten years, whose spare and precise arrangements support the voice without overpowering it. A French singer with a direct pen, Jamait weaves a clear, pared-down set where his own timbre converses with the writing of his elder, without mimicry or unnecessary effects. A stage interlude conceived as a taut thread between two repertoires in dialogue. To be seen on 24 April 2026 at the Centre Culturel Jean Gagnant in Limoges.
