Info
Thomas Marty returns to the stage with a new show that tackles everyday life head-on. A French comedian, he delights in the awkward details that trip us up—those little contradictions we carry at work, with family or among friends. His playground is reality: conversations that go off the rails, shaky plans, modern pressures and big decisions postponed until tomorrow. He speaks on a human level, starting from personal anecdotes and everyday scenes in which everyone recognizes themselves, without grand speeches or unnecessary effects.
On stage, Thomas Marty strings stories together as people rehash the world around a table, with characters sketched vividly, silences that speak, and shifts in pace that set the scene. He questions everyday masculinity, friendships as they age, the negotiating couple, the urge to leave and the comfort that holds you back. It’s direct, simple, precise, with language that goes straight to the point. He will present this new show at the Palais des congrès et des festivals Atlantia La Baule on 22 May 2026, for an evening in which we follow his clear-eyed, playful take on our era and its ordinary flaws.
