Haroun presents Bonjour quand même, a new chapter in his stand-up. The French comedian, known for his sharp, nuanced humor, opts for restraint: a microphone, ideas, and an offbeat sensibility that illuminates reality without embellishment. After five solo shows, he continues his mapping of everyday life: runaway news cycles, speech tics, our fragile certainties, and the contradictions of modern life. With measured pacing, precise writing and silences that count, he moves in small jolts, subverts the obvious and lays bare what’s wrong without raising his voice. Underneath the jokes runs a common thread: observe, question, and defuse what weighs us down so we can take back control.
