Noëlle Perna arrives with Mado, her outspoken alter ego, for a cabaret format she runs from start to finish. Mado does her cabaret: an evening where she leads the show—hosting, teasing, improvising and opening the stage to other artists she picks on instinct. Between one-liners, sketches and her own style of introductions, the program moves from one act to the next in the atmosphere of a popular cabaret, with Mado as ringmaster who holds nothing back.

No fuss here: she welcomes her crew, discovers with the audience what they’ve got, and allows herself detours, confidences and sharp asides. Whether they have connections or not—above all, they’re talented—her guests follow one another while she keeps a close eye, cuts in, prompts, and restores order when things go off the rails.
