Info
Europe lands at the Transbordeur in Villeurbanne on October 8, 2027, with the “Come This Madness Tour 2027.” Formed in the late 1970s around Joey Tempest and guitarist John Norum, the band built its signature on direct melodic hard rock: catchy choruses, tight riffs, layers of keyboards, and a knack for hooks. It’s hard to miss The Final Countdown, a track that has become a worldwide classic, but the set also promises room for the other flagship tracks that defined the 80s, between tense ballads and live‑oriented rock. And as Europe has not remained stuck in nostalgia, one can expect rougher, sometimes bluesy textures, inherited from the rest of their career and their revival since the 2000s. A concert designed to deliver a repertoire of anthems, no frills, carried by a band that knows the live scene inside out.
