Info
On June 27, 2027, Jack Johnson will perform at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam with his SURFILMUSIC TOUR, a show that naturally builds on his dual background: surf imagery and songs that seem to belong with it. Johnson broke through with the soundtracks to his own surf films and carried that feeling forward on albums such as Brushfire Fairytales, On and On, and In Between Dreams: acoustic folk-pop with gentle grooves, small refrains, and a lot of space in the sound. Live, it’s all about that restrained approach: guitar in the foreground, a soft voice, and songs that stay close to everyday life. Expect a set that shifts between early classics and later work, from Sleep Through the Static to Meet the Moonlight, with lyrics that move as easily about relationships as about nature and the world around it. No frills, but a concert that unfolds like a long, warm evening.
