Info
On April 20, 2027, Alex Sampson brings his intimate brand of acoustic-leaning pop to Bella Concert Hall in Calgary. Coming out of northwestern Ontario, he’s part of a new wave of singer-songwriters who build songs around voice, melody, and that close-up writing style that feels like it was made for headphones. His tracks move between romantic and melancholic moods, with clean hooks and a bedroom-pop simplicity that never hides behind heavy production.
Live, Sampson tends to strip things back even further: fewer layers, more space, and a spotlight on vocals and minimal instrumentation. It’s the kind of set where a ballad can land quietly, then stick with you on the way home. Expect a night centered on recent singles and fan favorites shaped for the stage, balancing soft confessionals with modern pop instincts.
