Info
On April 19, 2027, Alex Sampson lands at The Starlite Room in Edmonton with the kind of pop that lives or dies on a voice, a melody, and what’s left unsaid between the lines. Raised between Thunder Bay and Atikokan in northwestern Ontario, Sampson first built his audience online with covers and self-written tracks, then kept the momentum by teasing new ideas in short, direct snippets before turning them into full songs.
On stage, his contemporary, acoustic-leaning pop shifts into a more stripped-back shape: intimate ballads, romantic and melancholic turns, and clean hooks that stick without forcing it. Expect a set that leans into closeness and clarity, where the vocals sit front and center and the arrangements stay minimal, letting the writing do the heavy lifting.
