Info
On April 9, 2027, at The Park Theatre in Winnipeg, Alex Sampson brings his intimate pop songwriting to the stage. Raised between Thunder Bay and Atikokan in northwestern Ontario, he built his following the modern way: sharing covers and early originals online, then shaping a steady stream of singles with the kind of melody-first writing that sticks quickly.
Live, his songs tend to lean into the stripped-down side of his sound: voice upfront, minimal instrumentation, and that acoustic-pop feel that turns romantic and melancholic lyrics into something close and direct. Expect a set that moves between soft ballads and clean, hooky choruses, with the same bedroom-pop intimacy he’s known for online, but reworked to hit differently in a room full of people.
