Info
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah land in Vancouver on April 19, 2027 at the Hollywood Theatre for a night built around the band’s nervy indie rock pulse and Alec Ounsworth’s unmistakable voice. First surfacing in the mid-2000s with their self-titled breakout, they’ve kept that push-and-pull between sharp guitars, angular keys and off-kilter hooks alive across a run of albums that stretches from Some Loud Thunder and Hysterical to Only Run, The Tourist and New Fragility.
These days, the project revolves around Ounsworth, backed by touring musicians who bring that catalogue to life with the same mix of melodic drive and jittery tension. Expect a set that moves between clenched rhythms and crooked choruses, with plenty of room for the songs to open up on stage, especially for longtime fans who’ve followed their fiercely independent path over the years.
