Madra Salach land in Toronto for a show at The Garrison on November 13, 2026, bringing their Dublin-born take on modern Irish folk to the stage. Formed in 2023 and now a six-piece, the band moves easily between trad roots and contemporary songwriting, with the kind of direct, pub-tested energy that made their name around small venues in north Dublin.
Expect ballads and narrative songs rubbing shoulders with sharper, more current shapes: familiar melodic turns from Irish tradition, but played with a proper band drive, built for a room where people actually listen as much as they move. Their recent run of releases, including the singles Blue & Gold and I Was Just A Boy, leads into the 2026 EP It’s a Hell of an Age, a good snapshot of how they keep the heritage alive without treating it like a museum piece.
