Info
Madra Salach land in Belfast on December 11, 2026 at Mandela Hall with that new-wave Dublin folk energy built for a live room. Started as a trio and now a tight sextet, the band sits right where Irish trad meets contemporary songwriting: narrative ballads, popular melodies you can latch onto fast, and a full-band push that keeps things moving.
On stage, their sound leans on the classic textures of Irish traditional music, but shaped with a present-day band instinct rather than museum precision. Expect tunes that feel rooted in the storytelling side of folk while leaving space for rhythm, momentum and those collective sing-along moments that come naturally when a group has grown up playing pubs and small venues. With recent releases like the singles Blue & Gold and I Was Just A Boy, plus the 2026 EP It’s a Hell of an Age, this Belfast date is a chance to catch Madra Salach right in the middle of their rise, before the next chapter opens.
