Info
On May 8, 2027 in Manchester, Popstars: The Originals puts Liberty X back in the spotlight, revisiting that early-2000s moment when TV talent shows started shaping UK pop. Formed from the Popstars finalists who didn’t make Hear’Say, the group quickly built its own lane, leaning into sleek pop hooks with an R&B backbone: tight choruses, soulful rhythms, and dance-ready production.
Expect a set that taps straight into their breakthrough run, from early singles like Thinking It Over and Doin’ It to the era-defining Just a Little, plus later cuts that pushed their sound toward bigger ballads and sharper electronic pop edges. It’s a chance to hear how Liberty X moved from polished chart pop to bolder collaborations and club-leaning textures, all in one night, with the kind of singalong energy their catalog was made for.
