Info
Decompression Session comes to Pumpehuset this January, celebrating 2027 and uniting CPH bass with UK bass artist Mala.
Born and raised in South Norwood, London, Mala has played a pioneering role in UK music since the turn of the century. His work as a producer stirred dubstep’s musical melting pot with its most primal ingredients before it even had a name. Mala came to prominence as a founding member of DMZ, the crew behind some of modern bass music’s influential dances and the most highly prized 12s the movement has known. Almost 20 years later, his ideas and his creations continue to influence, push and fuse contemporary electronic music to uncharted places.
Supported by Decompression resident Brits abroad: DJ Lukey and Tea Lewis, and special local guest Tine Valentin.
Friday 22 January 2027, 22h00-00h04, Pumpehuset.
