Behind Yukimatsu’s career lies a story of defying adversity and changing course in the shadow of a life-altering event. In 2016, he worked as a construction worker while DJing on the side and organizing his Zone Unknown events. But a brain tumor diagnosis and the surgery that followed opened up a new perspective on life, and Yukimatsu decided to quit his job and devote himself entirely to his CDJs and every musical genre on the planet. Since then, he has played on dancefloors and at festivals around the world, including the Arena stage at Roskilde Festival and a noted Boiler Room set.
