Info
On October 25, 2026, Equinox brings Ian Pooley to The Pav in Cork for a night built around the kind of house music that doesn’t need hype to hit hard. A key figure in the European scene since the early 90s, the German producer and DJ has always moved with a steady, underground confidence: warm house and tech-house grooves, disco flashes, tight sampling, and those subtle Brazilian and funk touches that make his sets feel both direct and deep. Expect plenty of that signature swing, plus nods to the classic Pooley era around Meridian and Since Then, alongside the sound he’s kept shaping through his own Pooledmusic output and high-profile remixes.
Opening the night, Acid Dave (Milk) brings a wide-angle approach that jumps between house, trance and bass, with a leftfield, old-school rave instinct. The focus is on atmosphere and emotion, setting the room up for Pooley’s long-form flow.
