Info
Teenage pop artist Jim E. Brown explores themes of alcoholism and degenerative conditions in his work.
Fresh off a string of shows across the world, Manchester's son makes his return to London for a special one-off show.
As a born and bred Mancunian, Brown’s sound draws from Manchester’s post-punk and baggy tradition. Drum machines and synths shimmer, he wails in the spirit of the Fall’s Mark E. Smith, and he rhapsodises like John Cooper Clarke.
“Never heard of them,” says Brown.
Sydney Morning Herald - Robert Moran, May 24, 2025.
