Info
On January 30, 2027, The Ocean arrives at Le Ferrailleur in Nantes with what has defined them for 25 years: a post-metal in motion, led by Robin Staps, the sole constant member of a collective that has never ceased reinventing itself. Between progressive metal and more adventurous explorations, the group plays with contrasts: heavy, abrasive blocks, atmospheric breaths, textures almost orchestral, and an increasingly prominent place for electronic elements.
On record as well as on stage, The Ocean loves long-form storytelling, often linked to Earth's history and the landscapes it inspires, from grand conceptual epics to tighter formats. Expect a dense set, traversed by ruptures, rising tension and more melodic passages, powered by a renewed lineup and the desire to explore new horizons without repeating themselves. Featuring a guest opener.
