Info
SOAK, the project of Derry-born singer-songwriter Bridie Monds-Watson, lands in Leeds for a live set at Hyde Park Book Club on 11 February 2027. Expect songs built around voice and guitar, with those understated arrangements that leave space for close-up storytelling. Moving between indie folk, dream pop and alternative pop, SOAK’s writing keeps things direct and intimate, the kind of melodies that linger without forcing the mood.
Across albums like Before We Forgot How to Dream, Grim Town and If I Never Know You Like This Again, the sound has shifted from stripped-back melancholy to sharper textures and more flexible rhythms, while staying anchored in the same inward-looking edge. On stage, that evolution translates into a set that can swing from hush to pulse, with themes of identity, emotional ties and growing up running through the night.
