Info
On February 1, 2027 at Manchester Academy in Manchester, Sofia Camara brings her Luso-Canadian pop to the stage with the kind of set built around voice, lyrics, and the tension between intimate confession and clean, modern hooks. Raised in Toronto after being born in the Azores, she writes from the gut: breakups, self-assertion, the messy parts you don’t always say out loud, delivered through melodic ballads that know when to open up into a chorus.
Since breaking through with “Never Be Yours” and sharpening her sound on tracks like “Who Do I Call Now? (Hellbent),” Camara has shaped a catalogue that feels personal without getting stuck in diary mode. Her EPs Was I(t) Worth It? and Hard to Love, co-written with close collaborators, set the tone for a live show that moves between vulnerability and momentum. Expect a night that leans into the storytelling, with pop songwriting meant to be sung back in a room full of strangers.
