Info
Now Wave presents SOAK on February 7, 2027 at YES in Manchester. Behind the name is Bridie Monds-Watson, the Derry-born songwriter whose music sits in that space where indie folk meets dream pop and alternative pop, always led by the voice and the guitar.
Live, SOAK’s songs tend to keep things stripped back and intimate, built around clear melodies and quietly detailed arrangements that let the lyrics do the heavy lifting. You can hear the evolution from the uncluttered, direct feel of Before We Forgot How to Dream to the sharper textures of Grim Town, and the more rhythm-flexible writing on If I Never Know You Like This Again. Expect a set shaped by introspection and coming-of-age stories, with that balance of soft edges and emotional precision that’s made SOAK a steady presence on UK and Irish indie stages.
