Info
Popstars: the Originals brings Hear’Say and Liberty X back to the same bill on 4 May 2027 at Utilita Arena Newcastle, reconnecting two sides of the early-2000s UK pop story.
Hear’Say return with the bright, TV-forged pop that made them an instant chart force: tight harmonies, big singalong hooks, and that classic singles-first energy built around tracks like Pure and Simple and The Way to Your Love. It’s the sound of prime-time pop culture, reshaped for a live setting where the choruses do the heavy lifting.
Liberty X, born from the Popstars finalists who didn’t make Hear’Say, lean into a slicker pop-R&B lane: polished vocals, soulful grooves, and dance-ready production. Expect the era-defining blend of pop and R&B that ran through Thinking It Over, Doin’ It and Just a Little, plus later cuts that pushed towards electronic pop edges. One night, two groups, and a shared timeline revisited onstage.
