Info
On May 5, 2027, Bleech 9:3 lands at O2 Academy Bristol with the kind of alt-rock set built for a proper live room. Formed between Dublin and now based around Brixton, the quartet revolves around singer-songwriters Barry Quinlan and Sam Duffy, backed by James Quinlan on bass and Luke O’Neill on drums. Expect songs that lean into contrast: clean melodic lines that suddenly get swallowed by saturated guitars, tension held tight and then released in big bursts.
Their early tracks like “Ceiling” and “Jacky” already sketch that direct, tense, melodic writing style, shaped on stage across the London circuit, including support slots for bands like Shame and Keo and a three-night residency at the Blue Basement. In Bristol, that tight group dynamic should translate into a set that’s sharp, introspective, and driven by the push and pull between restraint and noise.
