On August 10, 2027, La Oreja de Van Gogh will arrive in Chiclana de la Frontera to revisit a career that has stretched from the late-90s pop-rock explosion to its more recent phases. In concert, the band moves between meticulously crafted choruses, guitars and keyboards at just the right level, and that distinctive way of telling stories in song.
It will be a night to revisit the repertoire that made them a staple name in Spanish pop, from the early records that marked an era such as Dile al sol and El viaje de Copperpot, through the evolution toward a broader sound blending pop, ballad and electronic touches in works like Guapa. There will also be room for the later era with Leire Martínez, with songs from A las cinco en el Astoria, Cometas por el cielo and El planeta imaginario, in a concert designed to sing along, remember and follow the narrative thread that has always defined the group.
