Info
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah will play at Vega in Copenhagen on February 14, 2027, with their distinctive mix of indie rock and indie pop: tense guitar motifs, angular keyboards, and Alec Ounsworth’s distinctive voice upfront. It is a band that broke through with their self-released debut in 2005 and became a focal point of the early blog-rock wave, but since then has shifted its expression without abandoning the melodic, raw core. On stage you can expect a set that threads through the catalog from Some Loud Thunder and Hysterical to Only Run, The Tourist and New Fragility, where the quirky choruses and the rhythmic unrest still drive the songs forward. Today the project is largely centered around Ounsworth, flanked by touring musicians, so the focus lies on songwriting and the living, somewhat edgy energy that has always made Clap Your Hands Say Yeah a live concert experience.
