Info
On April 7, 2027, Lizzy McAlpine brings her “the Over Country Tour” to O2 Academy Birmingham for a night built around close-up songwriting and quietly bold pop craft. First noticed for the way her voice carries intimacy without ever feeling fragile, the Philadelphia-area singer-songwriter has grown from acoustic folk-pop beginnings into a broader, more detailed sound that still leaves room for space and silence.
Live, her songs move between hushed confession and sharper melodic turns, with touches of indie pop, folk, and the kind of subtle jazz and R&B phrasing that makes her delivery feel conversational. From the early, stripped-back writing to the more expansive arrangements that followed, McAlpine’s set is expected to trace that evolution while keeping the focus where it always lands: lyrics that hit quickly, and a voice that knows exactly when to pull back and when to lean in.
