Info
Nessa Barrett brings The Tough Love Tour to the Gashouder in Amsterdam on March 16, 2027. With her third album Tough Love, she returns to a sound that fuses dark pop, emo-inflected mood, and alternative rock, but this time with extra room for experimentation: heavier guitars alongside trip-hop textures and a production that sometimes feels cinematic.
Live, you’ll get a set that moves between intimate, melancholic moments and tracks that land harder. Expect new material that sets the tone, with singles such as Too Fast To Live, Too Young To Die, and Bad Girls Never Die as touchpoints: songs about love without rules, pushing boundaries, and the urge to live freely.
Tough Love also connects to her recent EP Jesus Loves a Primadonna, in which Barrett explicitly sought a darker, rougher direction in the studio. On stage, that means piercing vocals upfront, emotion in the lyrics, and a show that relies not only on hooks but also on atmosphere and tension.
