Info
On 7 March 2027, Royal Blood head to the Bikini in Ramonville-Saint-Agne for a show that should remind listeners just how adept the duo is at filling space as a two-piece. Mike Kerr (bass/vocals) and Ben Thatcher (drums), formed around Kerr and bonded as a duo since 2013, have built their identity on lean, taut rock where the bass often takes the place of a guitar, with short, tight songs designed to hit hard.
Having broken through on the British scene with 'Out of the Black' and honed on major festivals, the band has been chaining records and pivots without losing its edge: the raw efficiency of their early days, the darker angles, then the rhythmic, more danceable openness of Typhoons, before returning to a more direct formula on Back to the Water Below. On stage, this translates into a no-frills set, between heavy riffs, a tense, driving pulse, and choruses meant to be sung back.
