Info
Keziah Jones heads on tour to the Centre Culturel Tisot in La Seyne-sur-Mer on April 8, 2027, with his distinctive way of making the guitar groove. Since the 1990s, the Nigerian has been tinkering with his own playground, blending edgy funk, blues, African rhythms and touches of jazz—a formula he calls blufunk. On stage, everything often starts from a sharp riff and a percussive approach, then it opens into songs that alternate raw energy with more relaxed passages.
Revealed by Blufunk Is a Fact, he has released records that wander between space funk and more jazzy hues, up to Nigerian Wood and its sung memories. Expect a set that leaves room for variation, feel and improvisation, with a groove sense learned as much in clubs as in the streets.
