Info
Wasia Project bring their “Nocturne Live 2027” show to Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on March 16, 2027, with the chamber-pop world Olivia Hardy and William Gao have been shaping since 2019. Built around Olivia’s voice and guitar and William’s piano-led songwriting, their sound slips between indie pop, light jazz touches, subtle electronics and a classical sense of arrangement—always melodic, never overdone.
Live, the sibling duo usually opens up into a fuller band with drums, bass and brass, giving extra lift to the intimate writing heard across tracks like “Why Don’t U Love Me”, “Petals on the Moon”, “My Lover Is Sleeping” and “Remember When”. Expect songs that move on soft grooves, with supple vocals and plenty of space for piano lines and warm horn colors—an evening that leans into nuance rather than big gestures, and lets the emotion sit right where it lands.
