Info
On July 8, 2027, Rogers Place in Edmonton hosts Greta Van Fleet’s “Into The Beginning,” a night built for big, guitar-led rock and long, winding dynamics. The Michigan band comes with that mix of hard rock, blues grit, and prog-leaning turns: riffs up front, a thick rhythm section, and Josh Kiszka’s high, elastic vocals driving the songs into extended live shapes. With material spanning their early breakthrough and the broader, more atmospheric writing heard on albums like The Battle at Garden’s Gate and Starcatcher, this show is set to move between tight, punchy moments and wider, more cinematic passages.
Portugal. The Man joins the bill with their blend of indie rock shot through psychedelia, pop, and soul, a sound that’s shifted over the years from lo-fi experiments to cleaner hooks and groove-first songwriting. Expect a set that can pivot from fuzz and weird textures to sharp, danceable choruses.
Opening the night, Sun Room brings Southern California surf-and-garage snap: bright guitars, fast tempos, and short, direct songs made to kick the room into motion early.
