Info
On February 26, 2027, at Bikini in Ramonville St Agne, Eihwar will present their Viking War Trance: a French duo that makes pagan neofolk collide with tribal electronic and trance energy. On stage, it revolves around ritual percussion, chant-like refrains, and dark textures that keep the dancefloor on edge, between overt Nordic imagery and club pulsation. Their universe, nourished by the fictional Hugrheim narrative, favors performance over reconstruction, with refrains carved for the collective.
Opening the evening, the Swedes Hindarfjäll unfold a more choral and acoustic approach, at the crossroads of Scandinavian neofolk and folk metal. Polyphonies, percussion, flute, guitar or nyckelharpa: the collective draws on mythology, rites and folklore to establish a ritual atmosphere, sober yet very current, in the vein of their Grimfrost Records releases.
