Info
On March 19, 2027, Bénabar checks in at the Centre Culturel Yves Furet, in La Souterraine, with Le Soleil des Absents. Since the late 1990s, he has carved out a distinct place in French song: he sings, yes, but above all he tells stories. Small misadventures, great joys, family scenes, details that hit home, and characters you feel you’ve already crossed paths with.
On stage, his narrative writing takes on its full dimension: each track resembles a mini-film, tightly paced and meticulously crafted, balancing understated humor with tenderness for our everyday lives. This date offers the chance to discover the titles of his new album, announced as more intimate and more festive, without neglecting the songs that have punctuated his career, from Reprise des négociations and his famous 'Le Dîner' to the more recent refrains. A concert conceived as a reunion, between unreleased material and a well-filled repertoire.
