Pureblast transcends genres and spaces: able to transform a concert hall into a dancefloor or to bring club‑worthy energy akin to a punk show, the duo adapts to the venues it performs in to give the audience a fresh party experience. At the crossroads of the new electronic punk movement, their music fuses powerful vocals, percussive rhythms, synths and aggressive bass lines drawn from dance music, progressive trance, techno, and industrial rock—a hybrid sound that unleashes its full force on stage.
For Paris Electronic Week at Mains d’Œuvres on October 2, 2026, the duo will present a three‑hour initiation dedicated to vocal recording, blending theory, practice and the exchange of experiences.
A first theoretical section: technical setup, installation of microphones and headsets, followed by participants sharing their experiences of vocal recording.
A practical part with small‑group experimentation exploring different vocal approaches: screams, speaking, verses, and singing. Two groups will work in parallel on the software (organizing and sorting tracks, effects, happy accidents) and in the control room (level setting, communicating with the sound engineer, using a studio microphone and recording practices) before swapping.
Finally, a concluding session to exchange on the practices covered during the workshop and the participants’ projects.
