Mr Larry

Mr. Larry is a versatile talent who has been bringing his swagger and groove to the French house scene for over a decade, notably with the Paris-based label and collective DKo Records.

He writes and sings, his voice often likened to Jay Kay of Jamiroquai, both for himself and for other producers (Demuja, Jean Tonique, Oden & Fatzo, ...).

He is also the lead singer of the group Secret Value Orchestra, DKo Records’ live band, in which he performs alongside Mézigue, Flabaire, Paul Cut and Mud Deep, a lineup with which they released their first EP Serious Intentions in 2016, as well as the album Unidentified Flying Object in 2017 and the EP Live in Houston in 2019.

There were numerous releases in 2018, 2019 and 2020, including an initial EP released on the London-based label Feelings Worldwide and a second on the Australian label Red Ember Records, a collaboration with Jean Tonique on the track No Worries, and a third EP Diaries in July 2019 on DKo Records. After a Mexican tour with his partner Flabaire in spring 2019, he wrote and produced upon his return his fourth EP titled From Paris to Mexico. The record was released in March 2020 and received coverage from several major media outlets, including Mixmag and Les Yeux Orange. In 2020, he collaborated with international artists such as Demuja, who invited him to feature on notable tracks like Happiness.

In 2021, he appears both in collaborations with Mira Lo, on the Bon Entendeur mixtape, and on Demuja’s new album, as well as an EP released on the Spanish label The Basement Discos under his alias Mr. Larry.

This year he is preparing to release on Allo Floride a French-language house project, more pop, arranged and mixed by Bastien Doremus, recorded with Adrien Soleiman and Louis Delormeau, and mastered by Alex Gopher.
