On 31 October 2026, Panic Shack bring their no-nonsense Cardiff energy back home at Clwb Ifor Bach. Formed in 2018, the five-piece has been building a reputation the old-school way: on stage, where short songs hit fast and the band’s tight timing does the talking.
Expect punk and post-punk edge with indie bite: dry, wiry guitars, a rhythm section that stays locked in, and choruses built to be shouted back. Their lyrics keep it close to real life, with humour, everyday frustration, and sharp takes on gender dynamics without turning the night into a lecture. After cutting through the UK live circuit and releasing a run of singles and EPs, Panic Shack have shared bills with Bob Vylan and Soft Play and taken their set to festivals from Glastonbury to Reading & Leeds and SXSW. In Cardiff, it’s all about the collective rush: direct, physical, and made for a packed room.
