On stage, the creator of Le Gorafi shifts away from current events to talk about constant irritations and neuroses. Co-founder of the parody news site Le Gorafi, the former columnist on Yann Barthès’s show (Quotidien), renowned for his satirical pieces, is touring to perform his show under a title that is deceptively ephemeral.
This time a show stripped of his preferred material, his traditional press reviews and references to current events, because "it was impossible for me to write about politics without knowing the outcome of the presidential election." Pablo Mira, who styles himself as "Jean-Pierre-Bacrise," has therefore decided to let loose his annoyance at the small things in life that get him worked up and at the large societal causes that overwhelm him, although he describes himself as an HPI.
But this impatient, psychorigid figure, "pessimistic from dawn to dusk," will speak in a somewhat more personal register about his multiple neuroses that ruin his own daily life and compel him to consult an overpriced psychiatrist. "So, I have to perform in a show to recoup my costs."
