MAE performs Danish-language pop-rock with melodies and choruses. The music moves somewhere between eee gee and Peter Sommer, ranging from upbeat pop songs to slowly built rock numbers. Behind MAE lies four years of development from Ricki Mae Melchiors' solo project in the bedroom to a five-piece band. Along the way, the reconnection and collaboration with producer Mads Bjørn proved crucial in lifting the project and giving the musical ambitions form.
That work has culminated in the debut album 'Månens yndlinge', released in September 2026. The release will be celebrated this evening at Beta2300. The album is produced by Mads Bjørn and comprises eight songs written by Ricki Mae Melchior and Anders Vagnkilde Stokkebæk, including the singles 'Jeg troede vi løb' and 'Hvis vi får lov'. In concert, MAE fleshes out the songs with a lively, upbeat band.
UROgenklang is a music project consisting of Sune Bjørn and Christian Schultz. The duo aims to explore, create, and move by putting music and words to life's chaos and beauty. UROgenklang has released six albums since autumn 2023 and strives to develop with each release. On December 3, UROgenklang will release its seventh album 'Blå', which completes the planned septology. The December 3 concert at Beta2300 will be a greatest-hits performance.
