The Amsterdam city centre and Sam Hofman are once again joining forces for a night during ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event), on October 23, 2026, at IJver in Amsterdam. Hofman curates the evening on his own terms and invites Justin Jay, a producer from Los Angeles who has been smoothly shifting between house, techno and breakbeat since the early 2010s, with room for melody and song-like ideas.
Expect no rigidly defined style, but a set that likes to cross boundaries: club structures with DIY edges, lo-fi textures alongside solid grooves, and moments where rave energy is as important as writing a good hook. Justin Jay’s trajectory, from early releases in the American club scene to his own Fantastic Voyage universe, is reflected in that fluid approach: dancefloor-focused, but with enough surprising sidesteps to keep things sharp.
