Lambrini Girls bring their Brighton-bred punk to Cambridge Junction in Cambridge on March 4, 2027. Built around guitarist-vocalist Phoebe Lunny and bassist Lilly Macieira, the band comes out of a scene that’s been shaped by riot grrrl and queercore, with a lineup that often opens up to guest drummers and a more collective, DIY way of doing things.
Expect short, direct tracks that hit fast: abrasive guitars, bass lines right up front, and a chant-like delivery that keeps the lyrics in focus. Their songs tap into queer identity, gender dynamics, and the everyday friction of social life, with a sharp sense of humor cutting through the urgency. Since the 2023 EP Love Is a Weapon on Big Scary Monsters, they’ve been a constant presence on UK and European indie circuits, and this date is another chance to catch that raw, no-nonsense energy up close.
