Info
On January 28, 2027, Fat Dog lands at The LCR in Norwich with the kind of live set that made them a word-of-mouth name long before the records. Born out of London’s lockdown era, the five-piece moves right where post-punk tension meets dance-punk velocity, pushing everything through a confrontational electronic edge. Expect tight synth lines, rave-leaning pulses, and that relentless groove that keeps spiraling instead of resolving.
There’s also the band’s taste for left turns: flashes of klezmer tones, driven by saxophone, cut through the rhythm like a siren, while the songs switch between raw rock pressure and hypnotic repetition. Tracks like “King of the Slugs” and later cuts from the WOOF era are built to hit hardest in a room, not on headphones. Special guests complete the bill, but the core promise is simple: a night that plays with chaos, control, and a little bit of the absurd.
