Info
Psychedelic Porn Crumpets land at Lemon Grove in Exeter on November 5, 2026 for a night built around their dense, hyper-kinetic take on modern psych rock. Born in Perth in the mid-2010s around songwriter and guitarist Jack McEwan, the band twists saturated guitars into layered, fast-moving arrangements where garage punch, prog turns and stoner weight keep colliding.
If you’ve followed the High Visceral Pt. 1 and Pt. 2 era, you know their thing: walls of sound, looping melodic hooks, and rhythmic left turns that can flip a groove on a dime. Later records like And Now for the Whatchamacallit sharpened the writing into tighter shapes without losing the texture, while Shyga! The Sunlight Mound pushed the pace even harder. More recently, Night Gnomes leaned into darker, more atmospheric shades. Live, all of that gets turned into a high-intensity set that’s less about polish and more about momentum, detail and sheer drive.
