Yael Naïm returns to the stage on May 4, 2027 at Le PréO in Oberhausbergen for a concert that spans the various facets of her songwriting, between delicate pop, folk, and more rhythmically oriented forays. Having been revealed to the general public with "New Soul," she has established herself with direct writing, a supple voice, and a keen sense for detail that gives space to silences as much as to melodies that endure.
Born and raised in Israel, after stints with her first bands before settling in Paris, she has built a career in which the intimate and the expansive respond to one another. Her collaboration with percussionist and arranger David Donatien, begun in the mid-2000s, marked a turning point: a handcrafted, close-up recording approach that gives her songs a distinctive texture. On stage, her tracks take on another dimension, carried by the energy of the live performance and an interpretation that favors nuance over showmanship.
