Info
On December 2, 2026, Q Marsden will perform at The Melkweg in Amsterdam with the DO YOU SEE ME? Tour. The Florida-born artist builds an idiosyncratic soul-pop that leans on R&B, with warm keyboards, smooth melodies and lyrics that hit close to home. As a self-made multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, bass and drums) he translates his songs live with the same focus on composition and detail that you hear in his home productions.
This show centers on DO YOU SEE ME?, his second album with 15 tracks, in which he explores themes such as faith, love, vulnerability and mental health, in keeping with his public narrative about schizophrenia. Expect no loose collection of singles, but a set that feels like one continuous conversation with the audience, somewhere between contemporary soul and alternative pop. In addition to new material there is also room for earlier songs from the period around The Shave Experiment and Soul,PRESENT, where intimate songwriting and analog textures come together.
