Gnags lands in Odense as the band plays at SJF Bank Arena on 30 April 2027. The group, formed in Aarhus in the 1960s, has always treated the live format as its home ground: songs written to be sung along, rhythms that get the body moving, and an expression that has constantly shifted gears without losing its core.
With Peter A.G. Nielsen in front, the concert moves through Gnags’ distinctive blend of rock, pop and reggae, often with a touch of funk and room for brass players and danceable grooves. The repertoire draws on decades of releases, from the early, more organic years to periods with more synth-infused textures and a later, mature rock expression. It is Danish storytelling in song, with an eye for the times around us, delivered with the energy that has made Gnags a band you not only hear, but participate in.
