HENGE lands in Dublin on April 3, 2027 at The Academy with its “World Tour 2027”, bringing along a live set built like a sci‑fi trip but played with real muscle. Born in Manchester in 2015, the quartet moves between psychedelic and space rock, electro and avant‑pop, a mix they call “cosmic dross”. On stage, the band leans into its characters and weird-fiction universe, but the core is tight and physical: synth lines that spiral, a bass pushed right up front, motorik drums locking the tempo, and guitars with sharp, acidic edges.
This show is a chance to hear how their catalogue has grown from the early Cosmic Dross EP through albums like Attention Earth!, ExoKosm, Alpha Test 4 and Journey to Voltus B, with songs that can snap into pop shapes, stretch into repetitive trance, or drift into more experimental zones.
