Info
On May 15, 2027, HENGE lands at Théâtre Beanfield in Montréal with its fully built-out sci-fi world and a sound that sits somewhere between psychedelic rock, space rock, electro and avant-pop. The Manchester quartet calls it “cosmic dross”, and it fits: bright synth lines, a bass that drives everything forward, motorik drums and guitars with sharp, acidic edges, switching between catchy song shapes, repetitive trance and looser experimental drifts.
On stage, the band performs through its characters Zpor, Goo, Sol and Nom, turning the set into something closer to a live transmission than a standard gig. Expect material pulling from the arc of releases that shaped their universe, from Attention Earth! through ExoKosm and Alpha Test 4, up to Journey to Voltus B, with that constant HENGE thing: tight grooves, strange textures, and a narrative vibe that keeps the momentum moving.
